When You Say Nothing at All

Island Hopping at Olango Group of Islands

It was April 18, 2009, our team decided to go for an Island Hopping and Snorkeling. I was very excited to go because I am such a beach-lover. Any activity that involves swimming, the beach, swimming pool, surfing, snorkeling, etc. Just name it - I'm always on the go.

So we were a team composed of 20 persons including our Team Lead (Immediate Supervisor).

At around 9:00 am, we arrived at Mactan Island.

From Mactan Island we had to ride on a boat to go to our 3 island destinations - Hilutungan, Pandanon and Nalusuan.

For a rental fee of Php 3,500, this boat can accomodate 20-30 persons.







We were so proud of ourselves, we were swimming at 10-12 feet ocean deep. Hehe. Beat that! I had so much fun. At around 4:30 pm, we decided to go home.

Stockli Beach in Badian, Cebu

We had our 3rd team building for this year at Stockli Beach in Badian. Badian is about 3-4 hours away from Cebu City. Well, the travel was tiresome but it was worth it. The place was beautiful!!

Aqua Cainta - May 24, 2008

May 24, 2008. We held our May Team Socials at Aqua Cainta Resort, Pooc, Talisay City. Aqua Cainta has 2 pools- one for adults (up to 5'8" in depth) and one for children (3.3 ft).

Entrance fee : Php 60:00 for adults and Php 40 for children 7 and below

They have two kinds of cottages. Open cottage which costs Php 200. Family cottages cost Php 350. These ones offer a little privacy with two attached double-deck beds.

All in all we had fun. It was kinda calm and quiet place. Yes, I had fun. After all, it's the company that matters most.

Basdako, Moalboal

Moalboal is a 4th class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. It’s a sleepy town about 82 km south of Cebu. Moalboal is nestled between the towns of Alcantara and Badian. Moalboal has developed a tourism industry based on diving and beaches.

Basdako Beach resort is located in the barangay of Saavedra. Basdako Beach, which used to be a quieter beach that locals frequent. Basdako now has several of resorts and several cottages where tourists can stay.

Moalboal is a small quiet town which is about 4 hours away from cebu airport. Tourists wanting to stay in Moalboal can easily take a taxi from Cebu International airport. Other ways to get to Moalboal would be to take a bus at the south bus terminal or a v-hire at Cebu Citylink.

Intosan Resort

Intosan is a few kilometers from the main road located in Danao City, Cebu. So, people who visit the resort are those who’ve tried it or those who know how to get there.

The resort is awesome. It does not have a sound system and people are not allowed to play loud music. According to the woman who accommodated us, the regulars of Intosan are city-dwellers who want peace and quiet.

The resort has very nice rooms with huge beds. They have many interconnected pools, awesome slides, and other cool stuff one can find in waterparks.

The resort charges Php120 per person [entrance]. But, if you get a room, you [number of persons for the type of room] won’t have to pay the entrance fee.
